When painting the table and chairs, try not to worry the drips too much. I recently painted my talbe and chairs black. The table scape is great, you did a really nice job...simple and neat...love the burlap runner. I'm gonna have to run out to Michael's and see if I can find some of those great little buckets. I'm a very sad person, I have zero easter decorations. I do like the duck also, it is a nice departure from the traditional. tAke Care, CarrieCarrie Ann Eddlemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15553785215200345343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4053167312482925620.post-2200289899557724192010-03-17T10:31:20.332-04:002010-03-17T10:31:20.332-04:00Hi Jessi, way to go!!!

I love the duck and I love Pottery Barn outlet. Maybe throw a few tiny colored eggs in with the brown and white ones. You could just use the candy one. Cheap. As far as painting the table. It isn't hard. Just sand off the shiny top coat. Prime it. May take two coats. Then usually two coats of paint. Lightly sand between the coats of paint to get a smooth finish. Then use a polyurethane topcoat to keep the finish from scratching off. Check out Miss Mustard Seed's blog. She gives tutorials on refinishing furniture. I like the metal buckets with the grass and I also like the daffodils ... you could possibly paint the buckets for the daffodils in an antique white and do a distressed look?? Or use some little wooden crates from the craft store and paint them and stuff 'em with the flowers.
